Dear colleagues! This is my nostalgic Web Site on the Nineteenth International Logic Programming Conference (Mumbai, India, December 9-13, 2003). Please help me to recognize the people on the photos. If you recognize yourself on a photo, please send me the number of the photo, your full name, country, and the homepage address - I will publish this information on the Site. I look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions.

Sincerely yours,

Alexei A. Morozov

Juergen, Joohyung, and I are a team at the Contest. The results of the Contest are the following: nobody has solved more than one problem, we have won nothing, but only some chocolate. Thank you for the chocolate, Bart!

1.26. Open meeting on the Next LP language. On the photo: Bart Demoen, Manuel Hermenegildo, and Peter Stuckey. Well, I have my own point of view to this problem: I suppose that Prolog should be completely revised on the base of object-oriented approach (OOP). OOP should be not only a supported feature, but a basis of any modern programming language. Our research group started the work on the next logic programming language about 15 years ago. It's the Actor Prolog language.

Return to the Actor Prolog page

I am grateful to the Association of Logic Programming (ALP) that supported my visit to ICLP'03. I thank Marina G. Glubokaia for help in the translation of the Site. I am grateful to Juergen Stuber, who has sent his excellent photos for the Site (series 7). The background music is written by Elan Michaels and Walden Whitham (see Elan's Web Site). Please, take part in the beta testing of Actor Prolog.
