Аннотация
A new fiber optic plasmon refractive index sensor was designed. On water solutions a resolution of 2∗10−6 refractive index units (RIU) was demonstrated. It was shown that a reliable detection of low concentrations of proteins in solutions is possible. Myoglobin in acetate buffer at a concentration of 500 ng/ml was detected.
