We present the results of magneto-optical (MO) and optical studies of InFeAs layers prepared by ion implantation and followed laser melting at the laser pulse energies W = 0.1–0.4 J/cm2. We have found that the sample prepared at W = 0.1 J/cm2 is inhomogeneous diluted ferromagnetic semiconductor (In,Fe)As with TC200 K. The MO response of other samples is formed mainly by near surface Fe-rich nanoregions that points to the enhancement of the Fe diffusion to the layers surface as the pulse energy rises. The optical and MO constants of the samples obtained at W = 0.2–0.4 J/cm2 depend on the incidence plane orientation relative to their crystallographic axes that is evidence of the anisotropic spinodal decomposition in these samples.
