The Ho3+:Y2O3 ceramics samples with 0.5, 1 and 2 at% concentrations of Ho3+ ions produced by vacuum sintering have been studied. The thermal conductivity coefficient, thermally induced depolarization and thermal lens have been measured as a function of laser radiation power, and values of thermo-optical characteristics of the studied materials have been found. In the considered range, the thermo-optical characteristics of the Ho3+:Y2O3 ceramics decrease with increasing Ho3+ ion concentration. The Peff/Qeff ratio of the thermo-optical characteristics weakly depends on the concentration of Ho3+ ions and coincides with the same ratio measured in 1.8 at% Yb:Y2O3 ceramics.
