New approach to the Okhotsk Sea ecosystem study is proposed. It is based on the combined use of simulation modeling technology and monitoring information processing. Short description of the Okhotsk Sea model is given. It is introduced the scale of biocomplexity ranging from the state where all interactions between the ecosystem components are broken to the state where they correspond to natural evolution. The basic scheme of Okhotsk Sea ecosystem model is presented. Some discussion of this model use is made
