Аннотация

A two-dimensional array of Vivaldi antennas with two-wire terminals is theoretically studied in the broadside radiation mode. An array model is proposed in the form of a system of coupled lines with smoothly varying parameters. The integral equations describing the dominant TEM-modes are derived and solved. The model describing the modes transformation on the inhomogeneous section of the array is developed. Various methods of the array excitation are analyzed using analytical and numerical methods.
