This paper adopts the GIMS to the Nuoc Ngot Lagoon region.The GIMS key function is integration and coordination of monitoring data delivered by different instrumental tools episodically at the time and fragmentary by the space providing under this optimization of the monitoring procedure. The GIMS structure depends on the natural object complexity. The Nuoc Ngot Lagoon region is characterized by the diversity of soil-plant formations, including their ecological characteristics as the functions of climate parameters. The lagoon water regime is controlled by the exchanges with the South-China Sea and the river systems. The GIMS adaptation to the lagoon region needs the development of new or specification of the standard GIMS items such as a model of regional hydrology and the instrumental measuring tools.
