The attenuation of magnetostatic surface waves (SMSW) propagating at an arbitrary angle to the bias field on the plane of the ferrite film was investigated. Decaying plane waves in the form A exp(ikr-iwt-qr), were considered, where the frequency w depends on the parameters of the film, on the bias field and on 2-d wave vector k, r - 2-d radius vector on the yz plane of the film.
