Storing and Retrieving Pictires in 1-D Dynamic Systems

Abstract

Application of one-dimensional nonlinear dynamic systems to storing and processing pictures is discussed. Principles and algorithms of the storing are considered, and the problems of compressing original visual information are investigated. Intermittency and chaotic wandering are shown to be able to be used for chaotic scanning of the memory based on one-dimensional dynamic systems.
