The method of dividing chaotic encoder and channel encoder is proposed and investigated. The use of such a division is shown to open wide possibilities for application of chaos in modern communication systems and computer networks. Novel quality of the systems and networks can be achieved by means of not only designing new technological hardware, but also by modification of certain equipment modules and corresponding software. Examples of using chaotic encoding for computer networks are considered.
